The real reason Levar Burton isn't hosting Jeopardy
You guessed it. Everything is about race and skin color right now because that’s what Martin Luther King Jr. would have wanted. (I can say that, I ‘m a Democrat and I wish I had black friends but don’t.) Your progressivist-senses might be tingling right now and you might be prognosticating on where this is heading, but watch out for the curveball I’m about to throw. It’s not about white privilege, supremacy, and keeping the black man down. It’s all about the format of the show.
For you see, Jeopardy has right and wrong answers. People are rewarded for right answers and penalized for wrong answers. That kind of commitment to objective facts is just…gross. Oregon schools have shown us that black people are oppressed when held to standards in unimportant matters like reading, language skills, and math computation. They need their self-esteem continuously bolstered for twelve years of schooling because otherwise who’s gonna do it, their parents? The school system is their parents. (I can say that, I’m a Democrat and I wish I had black friends but don’t.) When we’re not boosting how they feel about themselves, we’re incepting victimhood, so we can’t waste time on nouns and verbs. It’s important black kids see themselves as superior to whites but also despair about their inability to be equal to whites. We need their votes, after all. (I can say that, I’m a Democrat and I wish I had black friends but don’t).
Liberal professors and educational leaders across the country are doing the right thing by changing the governing philosophies of their institutions and giving impoverished and disadvantaged black people a leg up by calling concrete knowledge racist and white supremacist. So it is kind of about white supremacy in a roundabout way. It brings a tear to this progressivist’s eye to think about all the good we’re doing.
So giving the job of rewarding people for knowing stuff to a black man is like asking a slave to whip the other slaves. It’s only a matter of time before the racist public sector catches up to this new truth we’ve just discovered within the last five or ten years of constantly discovering new truths and tells their black engineers to design cars and planes that carry human lives with only the attention to detail their feelings will allow that day, letting black lawyers know they shouldn’t bother learning and interacting with established law and precedents because we’ll push their bar exams through the computer no matter what, encouraging black carpenters to eyeball measurements on houses they’re building, and deciding on the best surgeons based on the darkness of various black surgeons’ skin. (I can say that, I’m a Democrat and I wish I had black friends but don’t.)
So it’s actually a win for black equality that a black man didn’t get a job on a show that goes against everything we white Democrats know and practice as we train up black children in the way that they should go according to the truths that have been revealed only to us in the last ten years but which are subject to change in the near future. I’m a Democrat. We hold, possess, massage, and mold truth to the spirit of the times, so just keep on your toes or new truths might step on them and make you look stupid and racist. I don’t have black friends (I run in…different circles) but I think it’s important to reiterate that I wish I did.
Hey there, beloved reader! Don’t stop reading yet. I enjoy writing and creating content for you, but I don’t get paid to do it just yet. Recently, I took on the Herculean task of fixing America and wrote a book on the subject; the very literal-titled “I’ll Fix America Tonight”. There is a a link where you can conveniently add the book to your Amazon cart (if you’re flush with about $20 in cash right now) or your wish list (if around $20 in cash is a little too much right now, but hypothetically not too much in the near future). Buy it, and help end poverty (namely my poverty). Thanks for reading!
